Who this policy covers

This policy applies to business customers who create a SepticForms account and to end customers who submit a service request through a SepticForms-hosted or embedded form.

Information we collect

We collect information in three main categories:

• Account data — your name, email address, company name, billing details (via Stripe on Pro), and dashboard settings.
• Form submission data — information entered by your customers on your form (contact details, service address, service-specific answers, notes, etc.). You control which fields are shown on your form.
• Usage and technical data — basic logs needed to operate the service (IP address, browser type, error logs, and product analytics).

How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the SepticForms service.
• Deliver form submissions to your dashboard and to the notification email addresses you configure.
• Send transactional emails (submission alerts, customer confirmations, account messages).
• Process Pro subscriptions and provide billing support.
• Respond to support requests and protect against abuse or fraud.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share customer submission data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run the product, including hosting, database, email delivery, payments, and (on Pro) Google Places address autocomplete. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service.

Data retention

We retain account and submission data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

Free plans may limit how far back submissions appear in the dashboard; older records may remain stored but hidden until you upgrade.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on production systems.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.

Your choices

Depending on your relationship with SepticForms:

• Business customers can update account settings, notification emails, and form configuration in the dashboard.
• Business customers can export submission data on Pro or request account deletion via support.
• End customers submit data directly to the service company whose form they use; contact that company for questions about their request.

Children

SepticForms is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
